I spoke to Helen, the landlady at the Three Swans explaining that I had had a run of bad roast experiences!  All varying from fatty meat, stodgy, cold, expensive, long waiting times, chilly establishment, crappy service etc.  And I was making it my mission to find the ultimate roast (and surrounding envrironment, including my vegetarian house mates!!) Not much to ask for hey?  Helen took on this challenge and I was not dissapointed....

Our experience consisted of:

Beautifully laid out in a warm and inviting upstairs room to allow the locals to still have their Sunday fun in the bar.  This is by far my favorite Roast discovery so far.  I had heard good things and was not dissapointed.

The pub offers food on a Sunday and special occasions, it was beautifull presented, hot and delicious.

This is a picture of the pork, there was a large amound of tender meat with the perfect crunch.

The vegetarian option, usually this can be left behind and we have had a run of bad nut roasts!  This was a treat though and the constant flow of vibrant bowls of veggies to accompany it was perfect.

Who doesn't love a little bowl of cauliflour, cheesy goodness?

Brownie to die for!!!!

I give the Three Swans a 10 out of 10!!

Highly recommended.
After several Sundays eating roasts in various establishments, I thought I should start a blog as they are all very different and it can be a struggle to fing a great roast with all the trimmings.
